This is the Online Refund and Return Policy of Bathe Pty Ltd and applies where you make a purchase online from the Bathe Clearance Shop at www.bathe.net.au. We recommend you read our Online Refund and Return Policy prior to you making a purchase from the Bathe Clearance Shop (“Bathe CS”) so you are familiar with our policy on refunds and returns and your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Our policy may include a refund though some restrictions apply, so please review the terms below.
Consumer Guarantees and Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality but the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Change of Mind
Please choose carefully as refunds are not provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found the goods cheaper elsewhere. We recommend you carefully preview any orders before adding them to your shopping cart and proceeding with your order.
Goods Damaged in Transit
Please inspect the product immediately on receipt to ensure that the goods have not been damaged in transit. If any goods arrive damaged, please contact our Customer Service team (0295090000 / email@example.com) within 72 hours of receipt of the goods. Damaged goods must be returned in the condition received by you with all original packaging, accessories and/or manuals within twenty one (21) days of receipt. After the 21-day period, you will no longer be eligible and won’t be able to receive a refund.
Inspection on Receipt
We recommend you immediately inspect any goods that we deliver to you or that you collect from us, to ensure you are completely satisfied with the goods, including that the goods are of acceptable quality and match the description we have provided to you.
We will accept product returns and provide you with a replacement or refund where:
- The product is faulty or is not of acceptable quality; or
- The product is not fit for its intended purpose; or
- The product does not match its description.
If a), b) or c) apply, you are eligible for replacement or full reimbursement if a replacement is not available. After the 21 day period, you will no longer be eligible and won’t be able to receive a refund or replacement. The goods must be in the same condition you received them and undamaged in any way. Goods that have been unpacked or installed cannot be returned unless the product you have purchased is faulty or not of acceptable quality or is not fit for its intended purpose or does not match its description. Note – baths must be inspected prior to installation and cannot be returned after they’ve been installed.
Where Bathe considers the goods to have breached a consumer guarantee, any shipping costs to return the goods will be at Bathe’s cost.
You may return goods we have delivered to you by mail for reasons a), b) or c) above by contacting our customer Service Team. On receipt of the goods, our Customer Service Team will inspect the goods, provide you with a replacement or process your refund. The money will be refunded via the original payment method you’ve used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.
If the product is damaged in any way, or you have initiated the return after 21 calendar days have passed, you will not be eligible for a refund.
If anything is unclear or you have more questions feel free to contact our customer support team.
You may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or freight fees such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any manufacturer’s warranty do not apply. We may provide you with an indicative fee, which fee may vary due to reasons beyond our control.
Refunds will normally be processed within 21 days of confirmation of eligibility.
